Charter Starter
Heading off to an exotic location for the holiday of a lifetime? Get off to a flying start and maximise your holiday time and enjoyment by coming aboard Ingenue for a “Charter Starter”. Your skipper and crew have extensive experience in cruising and chartering both around Australia and overseas in The Med and the Carribean and are happy to discuss any aspects of your charter in addition to boat familiarisation.
We offer two different packages: our “Full Day Charter Starter” where you join us for the day for six hours tuition and lunch aboard, or our “Overnight Charter Starter” which will walk you through a typical day aboard your charter yacht, including dinner and sleep over aboard a yacht at anchor. Watch the sunset with cocktail in hand and enjoy dinner under the stars. This second option will certainly whet you’re appetite for life aboard!
Ingenue is a luxury 40 foot Jeanneau, which was commissioned for its initial charter duties in the Whitsundays in the Sunsail fleet. She is fitted with all the essential luxury cruising gear, including electric anchor windlass, furling headsail, mainsail lazy bag, single line reefing and easy rear cockpit access. We also demonstrate the use of our six-person dinghy equipped with outboard during each training session.
