The Yacht
Ingenue is a luxury 40 foot Jeanneau Sun Odyssey yacht, commissioned in 1999 and built in France. Her early years were spent cruising the tropical waters of the Whitsundays and she is now based on Port Phillip Bay, providing skippered sailing, gourmet catering and accommodation aboard.
Boarding the yacht is made easy with the stepped rear cockpit entry, which is flanked by twin wheels to ensure unobstructed access to the generous cockpit. A large folding cockpit table comfortably accommodates ten people for outdoor dining and is shaded by a bimini on warm days. A cockpit fridge ensures that the refreshments are always chilled and an efficient BBQ can cook up a storm for even the most hungry seafarers.
The companionway is protected by a sweeping dodger and leads below decks to a large saloon comfortably accommodating eight people around the saloon table. Opposite the saloon table is the navigation station, providing another two comfortable seats aside. The galley is fitted with twin sinks, large eutectic refrigerator and gas stove.
Accomodation comprises three separate double cabins, fitted with wardrobes, lights and fans for your comfort. The cabins are serviced by two heads (bathrooms) complete with toilets, handbasins and hot and cold showers. For the protection of the marine environment, both heads are fitted with stainless steel holding tanks which can be pumped out at the new Marine Waste Station on the marina at Brighton. A separate third shower outlet is also provided on the diving platform at the rear of the boat, ideal for washing off the salt after swimming.
For shore based excursions, we carry a six person inflatable dinghy with outboard motor.
We invite you to come aboard and share in the fun!
